About Us

Our future rests on our youth, no doubts about it! And who more than a young mind is looking to make her or his mark in the world?

That's where Arts Talks comes in, to help the youth find their voice and purpose by presenting and highlighting the art side (expression or application of human creative skill and imagination) of any working profession.

We look to creating possibilities for the youth to identify and discover their talents, strengths, weaknesses, and passions by introducing them to working professionals who will present and discuss their life skills, work knowledge, creative concepts, and cultural backgrounds, that is, their art!

The educational and emotional crossing path between youths and adults will promote responsibility, adaptability, curiosity, and participation to develop innovative, principled, and insightful youths in finding their voice and purpose, and positively influence generations to come.

But we are not just looking to inspire the youth.
Adults need inspiration as well, to remain relevant! Volunteering with us requires only a couple of hours of anyone's time, whenever time allows for it.

How it works

We engage caring individuals who have found their path in life or adapted to it.

Framed within their life story and cultural background, they will share with a group of youths about their talents, passions, their line of work and its implications, their challenges as a productive member of society, and much more.

Attendance will provide youths with a window on the countless opportunities available to them.

Pre-work is assigned before every speaking engagement to prepare the group for the talk. Materials to nurture a follow up discussion is provided to the teacher and/or parents.

If you want to build a ship, don't drum up people to collect wood and don't assign them tasks and work, but rather teach them to long for the endless immensity of the sea.
